WGECHDA AT WGEMA CAMPUS

The Wgechda Building was the first project undertaken on Wgemas Campus (formerly Concordia College) for the Forest County Potawatomi with the goals to create usable, modern office space while keeping the building’s original character intact and incorporating Potowatomi heritage. Our efforts preserved the existing brick and stone detailing while adding an ADA compliant, glassy entry pavilion, squeezed in the 8 feet between two buildings. The Wgechda Building is listed as a local historic site.
