Creating a dynamic space for this law firm on the top floor of a converted Milwaukee warehouse involved balancing a traditional past with a cutting-edge future. Th design combined the historical framework of the existing building with the technology and functional requirements of the modern world. Film noir and the dramatically lit world of pre-WWII pulp fiction was the concept developed by the client and designers using the black and white film classic The Maltese Falcon as a reference.
